The entire freemkv toolchain (the freemkv CLI, libfreemkv, autorip, bdemu, freemkv-keysources, freemkv-unlock, and freemkv-i18n) is licensed under the MIT License, from version 1.3.1 onwards.
You are free to use, study, modify, redistribute, and build on freemkv — for any purpose, commercial or not — as long as the copyright notice and permission notice are preserved. There are no copyleft or network-service obligations.
Releases up to and including 1.3.0 were published under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0; those releases remain available under AGPL-3.0.
